The Butterfly Dancer
Into the micro world I Fell
The grass grew silently around me
swaying like trees
I felt my ears pop as a snail approached
such a noise as it trundled along
"As above, so below!" the alchemists said
they have been here too,
they fed on the liberty cap and saw the patterns
of the stars and in the moats of their eyes.
The dawn finds me entranced by a leaf
such colors, such texture!
I taste metal in my mooth
my nose is cold and my balls
feel like two shrivled prunes
That night we took mushrooms together
we felt so close,
Linked by more than genus
we were one mind; in eternity
and yet
as the dawn shakes the magic from our minds
there is a huge emptness between us
It is vaster than the sky.
Anyone like Mushrooms?
