"Thie Vicar of Dibley" tops the UK's Christmas TV veiwing charts.
As pokesman for the BBC said "It was amazing! We lucked out and scheduled it for the time where there really wasn't anything else on."

T.V. was absolute shite this year. Anyone paying a TV license wants their head looked at...spacecadet wrote:"Thie Vicar of Dibley" tops the UK's Christmas TV veiwing charts.

Here's a question. If people subscribe to cable or satallite T.V. and as a result they receive the terrestrial channels like BBC1, 2, ITV, Channel 4 and C5 in digital, should they be expected to pay for it a second time through their license? Surely part of their subscription to their cable or satellite package goes to the terrestrial / BBC because they're not gonna give it away to them. Are they?
The Vicar of Dibley. Crap!!! Dawn French is as funny as a cancer diagnosis. Her and her husband...

Thank gawd I'm not the only one who thinks that way about Dawn French.
Last night, we watched Doctor Who (good fun, if not a classic), a thing about the top twenty gigs ever (some gems in there) and the end of 'The Red Shoes' (one of Powell and Pressburger's best) so if you searched around, there were a few odds and ends worth watching.

Yes Delph, I watched Dr. Who, simply because I've been a lifelong sci-fi-head and fan of the show but I ended up penning a 'fib' poem called Christmas Stuffing, then watched loads of Mark Thomas DVD's a good pal and member on here sent me in the post. I was equally entertained and livid (at the government and a few other powers-that-be) as a result. Still have a few from Mark's 2002 tour to watch and really looking forward to them...delph_ambi wrote:Thank gawd I'm not the only one who thinks that way about Dawn French.
