Should the U.K. allow their countries to be used as stop-over / re-fuelling points for American planes carrying 'Bunker Busting' bombs to Israel, who then use them to blow-up civilians?

Recent Weapon Shipments to Israel Through Prestwick Airport.

Post by Louis P. Burns aka Lugh »

This is a call to all active members of Sensitize and their friends to take a stand and protest, very loudly, against the recent U.S. weapon shipments to Israel through Prestwick Airport in Scotland. Read about it here...

A few weeks back the Americans tried to run these same flights through Shannon Airport in the Irish Republic and a protest group turned up and took a stand against them. I am urging we all do the same, by any and all means at our disposal...

Please vote in the above poll and add any campaign / protest messages you have about these flights, as replies onto this thread. I'm going to get an early start in the morning and try to contact some of the protestors at the Shannon Airport stand-off. Hopefully get them to post a few messages to here as well...

A few of the haiku I've written on the current situation.

American bombs
Re-fuel, use the loo, fly on.
We turn a blind eye?

Beckett and Condi
Fiddle with facts and figures
While Lebanon burns

The border's too close.
We shelter, hope, curse, cry, pray.
Our leaders fail us

"Yo, Blair," he said. Yo?
I don't know 'yo'. Yoyo; yes.
But this is no game.

These are brilliant mate... I particularly like the second one down. Very effective and informative, naming names. Mega-Cool 8)

Congratulations on having these published on The Guardian as well. Ya must be chuffed to bits. I'm chuffed for you too (wish there was a 'thumbs-up' emoticon on here lol)...

Think I'll follow suit and write a few myself...

You're a breath of fresh air and a true inspiration mate...

Keep On Keepin' On Delph

If anyone is in any doubt as to what this all means to the people who are actually there, please read this post by Randa, a lady in Lebanon who speaks for so many.

I read this lastnight Delph and want to thank you for posting it mate. If you are in regular contact with Randa or anyone else caught up in this sickening war (on all sides) and they want to use this thread to blog their day-to-day experiences, can you please link them to here. They will have to join Sensitize but that's a formality more than anything else...

Thanks and best wishes...
